Gordon Toll, B.E. (Hons), M.Sc., FAusIMM

CHAIRMAN

  • honours degree in mining engineering from University of Queensland, Australia - Masters degree in business from Columbia University NY. 

  • Career of 27 years with Goldfields, BHP, Texasgulf Inc, Atlantic Richfield and Rio Tinto.

  • Past Director of FMG and Evraz Steel.

  • Plus over 23 years of entrepreneurship aimed at developing significant new mines:

 

Mr Toll has a deep understanding of the iron and steel business and its essential inputs. This comes from +50 years of industry experience. Highlights include development of Mt Whaleback and orebody 29 in the Pilbara with Mt Newman (now BHP Iron Ore); engineering work on Marandoo and Rhodes Ridge, also in the Pilbara, with Texasgulf Inc.; corporate oversight work with Rio Tinto in relation to all their mining including iron ore; redevelopment of the Savage River magnetite mine in Tasmania and creation of Ferrous Resources in Brazil.

Focus is now on the development of the Braemar Magnetite Iron Province in South Australia

John Allen

COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR

John's expertise is in providing strategic advice on joint ventures and strategic alliances, mergers and acquisitions, equity, hybrid and debt raisings and complex commercial transactions in Australia and Asia.
John was a Partner in Allen, Allen & Hemsley, Lawyers, for 16 years and Executive Director of Technology Transactions Limited for two and a half years. He was a member of the Australia China Council from 1998 to 2007. John was also the National President of the Australia China Business Council in 1996 - 97 and a Senior Vice President through to 2003. He was a Director of CITIC Australia Pty Ltd from 1986 to 2004, and has been a Director and Chairman of a number of public and private companies. He was Chairman of the China Research Centre at the University of Technology, Sydney.
John obtained his Master of Laws from Harvard University, having been awarded a Frank Knox Fellowship. He has a Bachelor of Arts, and Laws (with Honours) from Sydney University including at UNSW on resources joint venture law.
John also worked at major law firms in Washington DC and Tokyo and has been a visiting lecturer at a number of Universities. He is a Fellow of the University of Technology, Sydney.

John has documented numerous resources joint ventures and resources development projects.

Robert Williamson

Robert Williamson, CEO of Red River Group, is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of Engineers Australia, and a Graduate Member of Australian Institute of Company Directors. Robert has attained the Stage 3 competency of Engineers Australia (Engineering Executive) and was the recipient of Engineers Australia National Presidents Prize in 2003.
Born in Broken Hill and with a career in mining spanning over 40 years, 22 years of which with Rio Tinto, Robert can claim a true mining DNA. Robert has consulted at and visited all the major global Iron Ore provinces including Simandou, as well as some of the world’s largest mines including Kalgoorlie Super Pit and Grasberg mine. Robert has also written and presented papers at leading mining conferences around the world.
Robert has fostered China relationships in Government, Finance and Industry, and has led several delegations to China promoting investment in mining and technologies and is active in assisting Chinese Customs (CIQ) with introducing the latest robotic mineral assaying technologies. After a career of 22 years with Riotinto and then Group General Manager at Snowden Mining Consultants, Robert formed Red River Group in 2012 with a firm vision for trade with China.
Robert is a past Chair of Engineers Australia, and currently sits on the National Congress and Professional Standards Board. Robert also Chairs ITEE in WA, is an Executive Committee member of Australia China Business Council (ACBC) in WA and is Deputy Chair of the ACBC Resources sub-committee. Robert also is Chair of the Curtin University Advisory Board of AASQA – Autism Academy for Software Quality Assurance, and a member of the Autism Association WA Business Advisory Council.

Emmanuel Heyndrickx

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

Emmanuel is an investment banker with 15 years experience operating in international capital markets including London, New York, Frankfurt and Sydney. Previously worked for ABN Amro, Dresdner Kleinwort Benson and ING Corporate Finance. Director of a number of listed and private companies both past and present including Zambezi Resources Ltd, Minrex Resources Ltd and Elbrus Resources Ltd.

Michael Gollschewski

NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Michael Gollschewski is an experienced executive and mechanical Engineer working in the resources sector since 1986 across sugar refining, aluminium, iron ore and major projects.

Michael is currently the Chief Operating Officer for NRW Holdings recently formed Minerals, Energy and Technology business.

Prior to joining NRW Michael was the President of Alcoa of Australia Ltd and Vice President of Alcoa’s Australian Operations.

Other senior positions held include:

  • Rio Tinto Iron Ore, Managing Director - Pilbara Mines

  • Rio Tinto Iron Ore, Chief Operating Officer – Pilbara Projects

  • Rio Tinto Iron Ore, General Manager roles in operations and projects

  • Alcoa, Project Director – Jamalco Unit 3

Michael is a past President of the Australian Aluminium Council and a former director of the Australian Institute of Management Western Australia.

His career has provided him and his family the opportunity to live in New South Wales, Queensland, Jamaica, Canada and Western Australia.

Michael graduated from the Queensland Institute of Technology with honours in Mechanical Engineering and holds a Master of Business Administration from Curtin University, Perth.

Michael and his wife Karen live in Perth and have an adult son and daughter.

Linda Zhang

CHIEF CHINA REPRESENTATIVE

Ms Linda Zhang has over 10 years experience in International Business and Trade. She has been instrumental in establishing Letters of Intent, MOU’s and Sales contracts for various international companies trading with China. Ms Zhang holds a Masters Degree in International Business and a Bachelor Degree in Management/Marketing/International trading, Import/Export Business, and Foreign trade.

Ruiqi Zheng

CHIEF GEOLOGIST

Ms Ruiqi Zheng is currently undertaking her PhD of Geology at Adelaide University and has a Master of Geology from Curtin University, Perth WA and 10 years experience in International Geological Exploration and Mining Operations including with the Chinese Government, Silvercorp and Griffin Mining in China, and other Australian operations. 

Gloria Zeng

DIRECTOR AND CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Ms Gloria Zeng has over 15 years of experience in the finance and accounting area and has been involved in cross-border e-commerce transactions, mergers and acquisitions of Australian mining assets for the past 10 years. Currently, she is holding a senior finance role in Lodestone Mines Ltd. Previously, she served as the Financial Controller of Compass Resources Ltd, an Australian listed mineral resources company and HNC (Australia) Resources Pty Ltd, an Australian investment arm of Hunan Non-Ferrous Metals Co. which is part of China Minmetals Corporation, the largest mining company in China. She also involved in the development of Sino Gold Mining Limited into the largest foreign participant in the Chinese gold industry and participated in successfully selling of Sino Gold Mining Limited to Eldorado Gold Corporation for over A$2 billion. Ms Zeng is a CPA Australia and has an Executive MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management, UNSW.
